Products & Artwork
Cheyne Atelier offers original artwork, fine art prints, personalised artwork and commissioned pieces.
Because original and commissioned artwork is created by hand, slight variations may occur.
Every effort is made to display colours, textures, sizes and details as accurately as possible, but colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device.
Orders
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Once an order has been placed, you will receive confirmation of your purchase.
Cheyne Atelier reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where necessary, including in cases of:
- pricing or listing errors
- suspected fraud
- payment issues
- stock or availability problems
- circumstances that make fulfilment impossible
If an order is cancelled after payment has been taken, a refund will be issued where appropriate.
Prices & Payment
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website.
Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
For international customers, additional customs duties, import taxes or local charges may apply. These are the responsibility of the customer.
Please see the Cheyne Atelier Shipping Policy for further details.
Personalised & Commissioned Artwork
Personalised and commissioned artwork is created specifically for the customer.
Before work begins, you may be asked to provide photographs, measurements, preferences or other information needed to complete the commission.
Please make sure all information supplied is accurate.
Once work has started, personalised and commissioned pieces cannot normally be cancelled or returned simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the artwork is faulty, damaged or does not match what was agreed.
Turnaround times for commissions are estimates and may vary depending on the complexity of the artwork and current workload.
Customer-Supplied Images
Where you provide photographs or other reference material for use in a commission, you confirm that you have the right to provide and use those images for this purpose.
You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from the owner or photographer where required.
Copyright & Artwork Usage
Cheyne Atelier retains the copyright to all artwork created unless otherwise agreed in writing.
When you purchase an original artwork or commission, you own the physical artwork, but copyright and reproduction rights remain with Cheyne Atelier.
Artwork may be photographed and used for purposes including:
- portfolio display
- the Cheyne Atelier website
- social media
- promotional material
- prints and merchandise
- licensing or other commercial opportunities
Customers may not reproduce, licence, sell copies of or commercially use Cheyne Atelier artwork without prior written permission.
